I have updated and refreshed my GCSE Art Exam/Mock Exam course structure sheets. They now reflect the 1-9 grades, include the revised wording to match the AQA Specification and go up to 24 marks instead of 20.
As before the jpegs and Powerpoint that includes the tick boxes can be downloaded below but if you want to have the editable Photoshop (or the ‘Graphics’ files – a mac based app that was used to create the original files) files then please drop me a message in the comments section.

I have put together a powerpoint to show my year 11 art students to help them get inspired for their art exam themes. The themes this year are great and I am hoping that we will get some fantastic work created.

To help my year 11’s get started on their exam prep work I have put together a PowerPoint which I will provide as a handout so they can take it home and make a start!

To prepare the year 11s for the 10 hour exam they sat a mock exam at the very end of December last year. The theme chosen by the pupil above was sea-life He created the ceramic octopus in the ten hours and then glazed it once it had been fired. Unfortunately the kiln at our school is rather small so I had to slice off its tentacles to fit it in and reattach them after!
Having got this years GCSE marking out if the way I wanted to share with you some of the pupils work. The above pupil selected ‘Movement’ as his theme from the list set this year by AQA. He is fascinated by animals and chose to focus on the texture of fur and muscles in animals for his work.
